Private Consultations, Boot Camp, My College Plan
Private Consultation
Have your questions answered, verify you are on track and ease your fears.Customized to meet your needs, our session discussion about academic coursework, the current college environment, and tips for planning will help your student prepare for application. Private consultations are a good option for those who desire guidance but do not feel they need for our more comprehensive My College Plan program. Workshops, E-mail Reminders and Question and Answer Service are available for My College Plan students exclusively. Many students combine 1-2 private consultations with the Application and Essay Bootcamp.
$150 for a one and a quarter hour session.

Application and Essay Boot Camp

Day 1- Application Prep
What's important and what's not? Organize and prioritize your information. Learn how to fill out an application to present yourself in the best light for an admissions committee review.
· Fill out a sample application to use as a guideline when completing applications on-line.
· University of California, California State University and the Common App
directions will be reviewed and step by step instructional handouts given. General .instructions on how to access and complete other applications will be given. All students will calendar their deadlines and tasks using our application organizer.
Day 2- Sweat the Small Stuff
· Details do matter! Work on short answers and finalize list of extracurricular activities.
· What are colleges looking for in an essay? Find out and pick appropriate topics.
Day 3- Just Do It!
· It's really not one college essay- it's usually several!
Complete an Essay topic chart to minimize workload and maximize your application.
· Work on Essays.
· Congratulations! You are way ahead of the game and prepared to apply to college this fall.
